voco Times Square South, an IHG Hotel

The location of the hotel is easy and convenient to stay at if you are planning to be downtown most of the time. The staff when I was checking in was really friendly and helpful, and even the housekeeping as well.

Great location, in the heart of the city but still in a quite area away from noise and crowds. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel and room was nice and clean. All furniture in great condition, like new. Quiet section at the back of lobby full of comfy chair and sofas where we could relax after hours on crowded streets. Nice bar with good choice of drinks. Luggage storage for free. Nice welcome drink at the bar. 10$ credit daily to use at the bar or restaurant. Coffee machine in the room. Coffe and water supply daily. Free lemonade and popcorn in the lobby daily.

We had to switch hotels last minute and this hotel came up Clutch for us! What seems to be a bad week ahead, Voco provided one of the best stays we could ever hope for. With a comfortable bed, great shower, clean rooms, great view from the upper floor on to the city. Breakfast was tasty, despite being sceptical at first that you order food at the bar, and not a buffet like we all are accustomed to. Breakfast was great, good portions and tasty fresh breakfast every morning. For bonus we could have some free popcorn in the lobby on our way to the city. The hotel provided a room credit of 10$ that can be used at the bar in the evening, it's super confusing at first, but to simplify this, you either get a free beer or a desert or 10$ to close your tab at the bar from the Hotel, a simple nice touch to your stay. We loved everything here and would consider staying again if we ever come back to NYC. Close to the hotel are amazing pizza spot and the metro is right around the corner. The location of the hotel is amazing. Overall one of the best experiences.

This hotel was not my first choice – I’ve cancelled the first two days before as it looked like we’ll be unable to travel. So, I’ve booked VOCO 24 h before arrival and, hey, I am so glad I did this. Perfect location, couple of minutes walking from Penn station and Hudson Yards, decently sized room, clean and modern, functional bathroom. Perfect stuff, helpful and polite. Some extra touches, as free (good!) popcorn in the lobby, cold water as well. I’ve been concerned by reading some negative reviews about breakfast and elevators. Ok, it’s true that sometimes waiting for an elevator to arrive lasts more than a minute, but it’s ok. But breakfast is perfect, you can offer one of the dishes from the list that is made fresh. Perfect quality and generous portions (egg, avocado, ham burrito/salmon bagel/different eggs/different pancakes). That’s for sure a hotel I can recommend and that I’ll use next time I am in NY.

Incredible Stay Thanks to Marina and Johan! I just had one of the best hotel experiences ever at VOCO Times Square! The reception team is truly exceptional—genuinely helpful, reliable, and attentive to every detail. I would especially like to thank Marina and Johan for going above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. They both helped me choose the perfect room and went out of their way to extend my stay for four more nights after I had an unpleasant experience at Hard rock hotel nearby. Their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made such a difference. Compared to my previous stay at another Times Square hotel, VOCO Times Square was on a completely different level. Marina and Johan’s dedication to guest satisfaction is truly admirable. They deserve all the praise for their outstanding service and warm hospitality.
